Our hearts are full of gratitude upon raising a record $227,000 at “The White Party presents Horsepower and Highballs”
What an overwhelmingly phenomenal evening we had at the majestic 1863 Club located at Race Course. Co-Chairs Kimberly and Leigh McConchie and our amazing committee welcomed a festive crowd of 335 guests who dressed in white or their best track attire. The memorable event included complimentary cocktails from Woodford Reserve Bourbon Distillery, 90+ Cellars and DeCrescente Distributing Company, scrumptious food by Mazzone Hospitality, Silent and Live Auctions, vintage cars, custom-etched glasses and ice sculpture from Woodford Reserve Bourbon Distillery, fun treats, photos by Cathleen Duffy Photography and Silly Snaps Photo Booth, CQ Valet Parking and Gravity kept guests dancing until 10 p.m.
News Channel 13 Anchor Chris Onorato kicked off our program as Emcee and introduced our CEO Jane Mastaitis who thanked the many sponsors, donors and guests and shared the vital importance that the agency provides. We recognized the McConchie’s, Community Builders Awardees – Michael and Stacie Arpey for their long-time support and gave them prints of torn cardboard collages created by created by collaborative artists from our Creative Endeavors Art Center. Chris then opened the bidding on our Live Auction with these items and donors:

Jane introduced a video that showcased why it matters to help support our mission. After the video ended, Chris asked for additional donations and the guests responded with an overwhelming response by donating close to $45,000! Plus, our Silent Auction included fantastic items, gift certificates, baskets galore and many others.
