23rd Annual Great Pumpkin Challenge 5K/10K

Thank you to our Great Pumpkin Challenge participants, sponsors and volunteers! 

We want to extend our gratitude to the 1,000 participants who ran, walked or rolled in our 23rd Annual Great Pumpkin Challenge. You helped us raise over $41,000 for the agency’s essential non-funded or underfunded programs, services and activities as well as to reward our dedicated staff!

Congratulations to the 5K winners - Peter Maroko and Elizabeth Predmore and 10K winners - Ethan Carey and Brigid Dake. The full list of results can be found at 5K and 10K.  Prizes were given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age group. Winners who missed the Awards Ceremony can call Saratoga Bridges at 518-587-0723 ext. 1266 to make arrangements to pick up their gift.

Our utmost appreciation to the Albany Running Exchange, our individuals who made refreshments plus donated food and beverages from Hixny, Bimbo Bakeries USA, Hannaford Supermarkets and DeVoe's Rainbow Orchards, race bags donated from Maureen Parker – Charles Schwab, cones borrowed by D. A. Collins and Saratoga County DPW, firewood donated by Exit 15N Firewood, teams from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, TEL and Fort Miller, Ainsley's Angels partnered with us and volunteers from MVP Health Care, students from WSWHE BOCES’ Criminal Justice Program and Skidmore College’s Political Science Program, Goldman Sachs Community Team Works, Soroptimist International of Saratoga County and Saratoga Bridges’ staff, board members and friends.
