Membership Campaign

Dear Friends,

As native Saratogians, Team Rowland (pictured below from left to right are Richard Jr., Michael, Richard Sr., Steve with Paul unavailable) have entrenched roots in our community. Our connection to Saratoga Bridges began in 1977 after Michael graduated from BOCES. This was most fortuitous as it was the same time, they opened a Day Program in the Village of Ballston Spa. Michael continued attending Day Program sites as others were created.

Michael lived with our dad, until 2011 when he moved into the home on Malta Avenue. Just recently, Michael became housemates with Jonathan and Ben in their home on Juniper Drive. With an extended family of caring, dedicated staff, Michael has a busy schedule engaging in community activities that enrich his life and increase his independence. The support Michael receives from his entire team, allows him to have opportunities to engage in things he likes to do most – riding his bicycle, playing games outdoors, attending church and having breakfasts on Sundays with us.

We are proud to be Saratoga Bridges 2021 MEMBERSHIP AMBASSADORS and encourage you to become a MEMBER as well. Every individual must have access to critical supports needed to thrive. It is crucial we all remain proactive in advocating for essential funding to ensure the agency continues delivering the highest level of excellent services. Ongoing advocacy efforts to our stakeholders does indeed strengthen our state-wide voice as one of The Arc NY’s 42 Chapters, raise our visibility, create partnerships and collaborations throughout the community. This results in our family members succeeding on all aspects of their lives.
